Surface Design Collections
Each month, I release a collection or two of illustrations and coordinating patterns for surface design, specifically for licensing. I love to see artwork come to life on products, and it's so rewarding seeing the kind of magic that can happen with creative collaboration. It's the most fun job ever!
I'm always open to seeing what inspiration the day brings
Sometimes an idea comes from a new vintage piece I've found at the thrift shop or antique market. Other times, inspiration comes in the form of an animal that visits the meadow I can see from my studio desk. I use my nature photographs and antique collections as reference, utilizing them to paint the colorful fantasy world I have buzzing around in my head! I love an excuse to collect more pottery, antique tins and boxes, plants, fabrics, and furniture, and the endless inspiration they contain. It's great fun!
